Le Grand Siècle
Be a guest of honour and experience the splendour of the 17th century in Louis XIV’s residential château, normally kept exclusively for the Sun King and his court! You can stay as a family or with friends in one of the many rooms of this flamboyantly-decorated hotel, and spend time strolling around the French-style gardens, that are so typical of this period!
This accommodation has taken inspiration from Louis XIV’s own private château. The Sun King created Versailles to be able to welcome Ambassadors and to build a courtyard. He then built another château in Marly which was supposedly reserved for his friends and intimate affairs. This château was destroyed during the French Revolution and a replica can now be seen at Puy du Fou, with 8 beautiful and bright lodges and a magnificent restaurant with 500 seats. The whole estate is surrounded by French gardens, making this hotel a peaceful and calming place.
Please note that the car park of the hotel "Le Grand Siècle" is equipped with pay-to-use electric vehicle charging stations and that room service is available for breakfast only.
