La Citadelle
Venture through the castle gates and find yourself plunged into the authentic atmosphere of a fortress from the Middle Ages! You will be transported to another era thanks to the paved passageways, the ocher and gold colored corridors, and the hand-painted murals. Enjoy a comfortable stay with your family in a bright, timeless room.
Three levels of tiled galleries, a maze of corridors, an impressive entrance and a medicinal vegetable patch: "La Citadelle" is an invitation to really get away from it all and will transport you all the way back to Middle Ages.
The rooms are endowed with opulent fabrics, carved oak beds, hand-painted murals, limewashed walls, stained glass windows and hanging lanterns, creating a warmly glowing ambience that is perfect for relaxation.
The Citadelle has 74 “classic” rooms which sleep five and 26 “comfort” rooms which sleep three, and offers room-service for breakfast only.
All bedrooms, which are 28m², have air-conditioning. They have a free Wi-Fi connection, and a television with with Puy du Fou’s own channel as well as French and international channels.
For breakfast and dinner, you can enjoy the buffet at L’Ecuyer-Tranchant, the restaurant located in the Citadelle's main courtyard.
