Le Camp du Drap d'Or
Get a flavour of life during the period of Francis the First and Henry the Eighth of England, for an original and colourful stay! We invite you to come and journey back in time in this family room with all modern comforts, in an original hotel where every detail will make your stay at Puy du Fou an unforgettable one!
The Camp du Drap d'Or invites its guests to follow in the footsteps of England’s Henry VIII and Francis I of France in one of 100 flamboyant ‘lodgings’ of the Field of the Cloth of Gold.
Four poster beds with turned oak posts, embroidered tapestries, beaten metal handbasins and tiled bathrooms decorated with gold offer a right royal stay with all mod cons, in magnificent décor.
All the decorative elements of the Camp du Drap d’Or’s ‘lodgings’, including the bricks, stone, wooden posts and balusters were made to measure, inspired by paintings and engravings from the period to give an authentic look.
All rooms, which are 27m², have a free Wi-Fi connection, and a television with with Puy du Fou’s own channel as well as French and international channels.
