FRANCE BEST ATTRACTION VENUE

Le Puy du Fou was elected "France Best Attraction Venue" winner during the Remarkable Venue Awards 2020. This award based on the opinions of visitors who use Tiquets, a Dutch instant mobile ticketing platform where people can book tickets to visit museums and attractions around the world at the last minute, highlights Puy du Fou's excellent visitor satisfaction rate.

Our big night-time show, "Les Noces de Feu", our original 2020 creation, was crowned "Best Live Entertainment" and "Best Use of Technologies" during the great "Park World Excellence Awards" ceremony on 8 December 2020. This original creation bubbles over with groundbreaking technology, forever dedicated to imagining a poetic and magical production. This one-of-a-kind show subtly harmonizes water and fire, the intimate and the spectacular, the splendour of costumes dazzling like a thousand stars and the extravagance of immense scenescapes which emerge from the depths of the lake. These two awards highlight exceptional expertise where innovation and emotion unite.

The "Park World Excellence Awards 2020" international jury, comprising the greatest experts from the world of entertainment, honoured Puy du Fou with the "Best Use of Theming" award for its new "Le Grand Siècle" hotel and its conference centre "Le Théâtre Molière". Two incredible settings which invite visitors on a journey into the magnificence of the Sun King's world.

The last original show from the Puy du Fou, "Le Premier Royaume", was awarded "Best Show in the World" by the jury of the prestigious Themed Entertainment Association, in the United States. This is a new award which acknowledges the excellence and expertise of the Puy du Fou teams. The award will officially be presented to the teams on the 18th April 2020 in Los Angeles.

Puy du Fou’s original 2018 creation “Le Mystère de La Pérouse” has won its second international distinction, the “Parksmania Award” for the Best European Creation of the year. The prize was awarded at the 17th “Parksmania Awards” ceremony which took place on 5 October in Bergamo, Italy. This reward is a recognition of the technical and artistic excellence of the “Mystère de La Pérouse” show, which has been entirely invented and produced by the Puy du Fou team.

Tuesday 14 November brought with it a new ‘Oscar’ for Puy du Fou, France’s second largest theme park, in the shape of the Hall of Fame Award. The award was bestowed on Puy du Fou in Orlando, Florida, thanks to its creator Philippe de Villiers. The honour is the fifth global award won by Puy du Fou in just five years. The prestigious Hall of Fame Award was presented to Puy du Fou in recognition of Philippe de Villiers’ involvement which was deemed ‘an extraordinary contribution in the evolution and the development of theme parks around the world’. Thanks to de Villiers, Puy du Fou secures a place in the theme parks Hall of Fame, confirming its worldwide status in the areas of leisure time and entertainment.
